Initial Ideas

For the last section of 'Band Identity' I used Katy Perry as my artist so I thought I may as well use Katy for this section so that all of my work links back to the same artist as opposed to different ones. I shall be using tracks off the Katy's first album 'One of the Boys' and her second album 'Teenage Dream' to come up with a tracklist for the CD cover I will be creating in the upcoming weeks.

Introduction

For this section of 'Band Identity' we are going to be looking at flyers and posters that bands use to promote themselves by. We shall have time in the studio as well as time on location to shoot some photos and come up with some images we can use for our final ones which shall be used for flyers/posters and CD cases.

Festive Card and Video

Today we were set a mini task which linked in with things we have done in previous weeks. Seeing as it was christmas soon,we were to produce festive cards and a video.
Half of the class (C+D) went out with cameras to take photographs that tied in with the festive period. The other half (E+F)went out with a flip video camera to get some footage. We then downloaded the photos and videos to the iMacs, ready to make into cards etc, next week.

Missed Lesson - 1st December

I wasn't in this week as I couldn't get in due to the severe weather. There were a few others who were in the same boat as me, so all the groups merged together and went in the photo studio. They looked at different coloured backgrounds using the lights and coloured gels. They also played with the fan.
